WEL

When to call

  • A municipal blight or building program needs a demo contractor
  • Campus or institutional structures are coming down between semesters
  • A GC needs demolition that won't bottleneck the schedule
  • Abatement and demo need to be one contract
  • Fire- or storm-damaged structures need emergency takedown

What we do

The Town of South Boston has run a program-scale year of demolition through WEL. Liberty University, the City of Lynchburg, the City of Roanoke, and GCs including Whiting-Turner, Superior Paving, Adams Construction, and Jamerson-Lewis have all put us on demo scopes. The difference is the back end: our own roll-offs, dump fleet, and disposal relationships mean debris leaves as fast as it hits the ground. If the survey turns up asbestos, our own abatement crews handle it without a change-order standoff.
