What we do
VDOT's Salem and Appomattox operations have relied on WEL winter capacity for years, across interstate and primary routes, plus brush removal and brine hauling in the shoulder months. The fleet is 40+ dedicated plow/spreader trucks from single-axle to tandem Kenworths, maintained in our own shops and crewed by people who also run our emergency operations.
